We all think that it is indeed not right. Everyone is different in what they do and like so that means they should not change for the approval of others. If they do not like you for the way you are then don't worry about them being your friend.
As a group we said no because everyone should be themselves and dont worry what the popular people think of you, you will make friends by being the way you are, and those are the true friends that you need.
We as a group agree it is not right to change who we are just to be popular. IT may seem worth it at first but then you will realize it's not all it's worth to be. You won't be happy because your not your self and you aren't doing things that you really enjoy. Also you will realize how important your old friends are and that things seem really diffrent without them. Popularity is just a name it doesn't mean you will be the happiest person and in msot cases you are far from it.
